I love these Gypsy caravans. Born in Cornwall, England, I think I have these in my blood. This one is a little more colorful than is customary, but if I had one, I suspect I'd paint it with these bold colors.  I am offering this puzzle with a reserve price equal to 70% of the full retail price. The buy-now price is set at full retail. I am putting the starting bid low to allow you to add you name to the list of people who like it, without having to purchase the puzzle. As with most hand made items, this is a labor of love - prices rarely reflect the hours it takes to make one of these.  Retail Price                               $520 Starting Bid= 50% of retail        $260 Reserve = 70% of retail            $360 This unique puzzle, Gypsy Horse and Caravan, has 405 generously sized, fancy cut pieces, and measures 24" x 12" at the widest points. It is double-sided. The pieces are color stained on all sides and finished with a fine cabinet makers wax. This is a hanging puzzle, and has been fitted with three brass rings and ribbons for hanging. This is NOT an easy puzzle to assemble, but it is a fun type of difficulty. I have many satisfied, return buyers. This is not just a puzzle. This is a unique piece of artwork; a one-of-a-kind art piece to be enjoyed for generations. The designs are mine and copyrighted, so you'll not see them anywhere else. The lid carries the puzzle image and the puzzle details.   This auction is for a new, hand cut, wooden, jigsaw puzzle by BellArt. This is a double-sided hanging jigsaw puzzle.  The pieces in this puzzle are sanded, stained on all sides with colored inks, and then sealed with fine wax. There is no way to know which side is up as both sides look the same. This is a beautiful puzzle to see and to handle. The shapes are intricate and pleasing, the pieces smooth and lovely to handle. The only aid in solving the puzzle is the wood grain. Note: Any shine in the photographs are due to the wax finish and indoor lighting. This is not a young child’s puzzle! BellArt puzzles are cut from the finest craft quality, 1/4 inch, Birch 5 plywood.
