The Top reads “Star Wars” and “#1 July”. Under the tape it reads “Color” “Title & Number” and “World Color” This color key has an image area of 7.75" x 12", and its condition is excellent.   In the pictures you can see the Black, Blue, Red and Yellow sheets. You also see the set as it looks together and a half black and white and half color cover. NOTE: Some of the blue ink has bled on to the red sheet.     This item is featured on Gus Lopez’s Star Wars Collectors Archive. Each of the layers represents one of the layers in the 4 color process. A white sheet is used as the base, then the first layer is taped down. The next layer then gets lined up with the registration marks and taped down. Another use for color keys was for the press-man to identify which plate was for which color.
