The box lengths are 8ft long and weigh approx 90-150lbs each.  One of the boxes has a tear and one (1) of the small 3ft pieces of wood is broken. We were checking out the $2000 and up sets from other places. Our son liked it and the price was great so we jumped on it. It took about 4 days to put together and it was worth it. This thing is great. It held me and my wife along with our son while it was going up. Our son loves it and we are now starting to accessorize it for him. The slide even holds me at 200lbs. I'm glad we saw this one in the store. One thing got me though. It doesn't look anywhere near as big in the store as it does once it was together in the yard. This thing is big. We live on an acre and works out great. Very sturdy, instructions were pretty easy, good quality. Love the wooden roof instead of the tarp or fabric type. It is a pain though to waterproof because it's so tall unless you use a sprayer. Great weekend project. Looks good. The only thing I recommend, is to buy a 5 gallon can of decksealer and a sprayer. You will be glad you did.My kids are excited and I love the way it looks in our yard. There are addons which can also be purchased, but if you are handy, you can add on yourself.I do recommend, putting another piece of cedar in the center under the front porch are on the right hand side. It seems to firm it up, but then again, I am quite picky.Love the set, great directions, fun project.Enjoy!!!! We looked at every wooden swing set configuration ever made before we decided on this one. It took my husband and his friend about 18 hours to put it together. They marked every piece of wood-the markings are faint- as soon as they took it out of the box and organized it before starting. It is a huge project but it is absolutely awesome when finished. Very sturdy-these two men crawled over it during construction and it never moved. Instructions are easy to follow. It is helpful if you have three power drills with back up batteries so you don;t have to keep changing out bits. One witha phillips, one with a nut driver, and one with a drill bit. Construction was time consuming but not difficult. Our kids absolutely love it.
