Features that influences the outstanding performance of the factory tuned O.S. SPEED 21VZ-B V-Spec engine. A first for model engines, the magnesium heat sink head weighs 15% less than aluminum and runs cooler as well. A double adjustment carb allows for ultra-fine tuning for demanding race conditions. A special DLC coated crankshaft with a pressed in Tungsten disc in the counterweight for improved balance and a lower level of vibration. Precision ceramic ball bearing is incorporated which greatly reduces frictional losses -the same type of bearings that are used in full size racing car engines. Three carburetor venture inserts are available in 7, 8 and 9mm throat diameters. The inserts have a red anodized finish - the O.S. SPEED brand color with throat diameter laser marked on each insert.
