I have known this tractor for about twenty years. I bought it from the original owner. He lived in Kansas City when he was 6 years old. One day he was riding his old tin type pedal tractor down the lane when the Neighbor came up the drive and ran over the boy and his tractor. he escaped with very minor scratches but the tractor was destroyed. The Neighbor man felt so bad that he went out and bought him this brand new Oliver 88 pedal tractor. as far as he could remember it was around 1959 or 1960. He remembered taking a hammer to the gas cap. he rolled it on its top more than it has been on its wheels. but it still looks this good. As you can see from the pics, it us a 100% original tractor. all the pedals are intact. there is a couple of broken spots in the castings, a crack above the left hand pedal, a crack in the top of the hood, and half of the gas cap is missing. all the wheels and tires are original, the tires are worn down pretty good, but still read ESKA on the sides. All the hubcaps are there. the seat and steering wheel are original.
