Description PLUSH TALKING ALF DOLL IN ORIGINAL BOX This auction is for a RARE Collectible Talking ALF Plush Doll in NEW in the ORIGINAL BOX condition! ALF was a half-hour American TV sitcom that originally ran on NBC from 1986 to 1990 and was created by Paul Fusco. The title character was Gordon Shumway, nicknamed ALF (for Alien Life Form), a friendly extraterrestrial from the planet, “Melmac”, who crash lands in the garage of the suburban middle class Tanner family. The series starred Max Wright as father Willie Tanner, Anne Schedeen as mother Kate Tanner, and Andrea Elson & Benji Gregory as their children, Lynn & Brian Tanner. The character of ALF was portrayed by a puppet operated primarily by Fusco, or in some instances, by dwarf actor Michu Meszaros wearing an ALF costume. This ALF doll is still NEW, and as far as I know, was presumably NEVER REMOVED from its ORIGINAL BOX. As far as I know, this plush doll has been sitting in its box on a shelf, ever since its purchase, and will therefore need new batteries to access the Talking feature. As installing new batteries myself, would entail the requirement of my having to remove this ALF doll from its box & thus, reduce or even eliminate the collectible value of this item, I have decided to leave the installation of new batteries up to the buyer, and retain its collectibility factor instead.  As a result, the Talking feature has NOT been tested, however, I see NO reason why that feature should not work, once new, functioning batteries have been installed, as overall, this doll appears to be in GREAT, LIKE NEW condition!
