Mamod SP1 stationary model toy steam engine. It was the smallest model that Mamod manufactured. It was only produced between 1979 - 1984 when the model was discontinued.The model in this auction is in Like-New condition. It does not appear to ever been fired (or very little) as there is no residue or discoloration under the boiler from the heat of the fuel tablets. The only part missing from the model is the solid fuel burner tray. The original box is included but has several marks and rips. Spoked flywheel is only 1 ½" diameter. The metal base plate measures 5 1/2"L x 3"W x 6"H (to top of chimney). The solid brass boiler is equipped with safety valve and water level plug.
