Description
Title: "Beach Front Twirl" SIZE : 1.95 inches Just recently I started playing music again. It has been a great release. While at the same time I think it has had an affect on my marbles. It is hard to say exactly but I believe that I have been more aware while working on the torch. I found this website online that I have been using to learn and understand music with the bass guitar. One of the things I read was to take your time and listen to the sounds of the bass. Dont play fast just to play fast. Play slow and listen closely to the sounds coming from the instrument. I believe playing bass guitar again has helped me to focus and "listen to the sounds" I make when I am working. Do they sound/look clean? Are there extra noises/lines that you are not intentially making? This is something I always questioned in my glass work. But instead of listening I am watching for clarity and watching for anything that I am not intentionally doing. Part of the slow process of mastery. I had a discussion with my girlfriend that other day about how as artists we can attempt something 100 times and not notice something that we might see on that 101 attempt. It is strange to me that suddenly we notice something we had never seen before. It is interesting to me how my intensity and awareness can fluctuate from day to day and week to week. Sort of like weather patterns with in a climate. All my photos are taken under bright halogen lights. It is the closest lighting that I have found to show true color and best represents how the marble looks under sunlight. To enjoy these marble at their brightest please view using halogen lights or direct sunlight. Any other lighting may not show or light up marbles as well as my photographs. None of my photographs are adjusted. I hope you enjoy my work and please email me if you have any questions at all. Good Luck Bidding!
